How do I download my product after purchase?
+
Etsy sends a download link to your email immediately after purchase. You can also access downloads from your Etsy account under Purchases & Reviews. For direct purchases, you receive an email with the download link within seconds of payment. The zip file contains all formats — print PDFs and digital files — in one download.
What's the difference between buying on Etsy and buying direct?
+
The products are identical — same files, same formats, same quality. Etsy is a familiar marketplace with strong buyer protection. Buying direct means you're buying from groundworkos.co — it's slightly faster and a higher margin goes to us, which helps us build more products. Both options are fully supported.
Do I need a special app to use the digital PDF?
+
Any PDF annotation app works — GoodNotes, Notability, OneNote, Adobe Acrobat, Xodo, Noteshelf, Penly. The hyperlinked navigation (tabs that jump between sections) requires an app that supports PDF hyperlinks — GoodNotes, Notability, and Adobe Acrobat all do. You can also open the PDF without using the navigation tabs.
Can I use the digital version on Android?
+
Yes. The PDF files work in any Android PDF annotation app. GoodNotes is now available on Android. Penly and Xodo are strong Android alternatives. OneNote works on Android and is free with a Microsoft account. The Notion templates work on all platforms including Android.
Is the Notion template a PDF or a real Notion page?
+
It's a fully native Notion page — not a PDF embedded inside Notion. Each product has its own Notion template with databases, properties, linked views, and relational elements built in. You receive a shareable template link in the purchase zip. Click the link and duplicate it to your own Notion workspace in one click.
Can I print as many copies as I want?
+
Yes. All Groundwork products are undated and the licence covers unlimited personal printing. Print as many copies as you need, whenever you need them. There's no expiry on the files. The digital versions can be used on as many of your personal devices as you like.
Can I share the files with someone else?
+
The licence covers personal use only — one person, all their devices. You're welcome to print as many copies as you personally need. You may not resell, redistribute, or share the digital files with others. If someone else wants the product, they can purchase their own copy.
What file formats are included in every purchase?
+
Every Groundwork product includes: A4 print PDF, A5 print PDF, Filofax Personal print PDF, US Letter / Half Letter print PDF, a hyperlinked digital PDF for GoodNotes/Notability/OneNote, and a Notion template link. Seven formats in one zip file.
What binder sizes are compatible?
+
A5 pages fit Filofax A5, Kikki K Large, Carpe Diem A5, Recollections A5, and most major 6-ring A5 organisers. Filofax Personal pages fit Filofax Personal, LV MM Agenda, Van der Spek Standard, and Gillio Medium. US Letter fits standard 3-ring US binders. Half Letter fits Franklin Covey Compact and most 6-ring US systems.
Do I need to pay for GoodNotes or Notion to use the digital versions?
+
GoodNotes has a free plan (limited to three notebooks) — enough to trial the system. Notion's free plan covers everything a single user needs indefinitely. OneNote is completely free with a Microsoft account. You only need a paid GoodNotes subscription if you want unlimited notebooks across the full Groundwork range.
What is your refund policy?
+
Due to the digital nature of our products, we do not offer refunds once files have been downloaded. If you experience a technical issue with your download — file corruption, missing files, or a format not working as expected — contact us at hello@groundworkos.co and we will resolve it immediately.
Can I use the Groundwork system if I'm new to GTD or Atomic Habits?
+
Absolutely. The products are designed to implement the methodologies without requiring you to have read the source books. Each tool explains its own structure on the page. That said, reading Atomic Habits, Deep Work, or Getting Things Done will deepen your understanding of why the pages are structured the way they are — they're all worth reading regardless.
What's the minimum I need to get started?
+
Start with the free 7-Day Focus Sprint — it contains the Brain Dump page, a Weekly Review, and seven Daily Focus Sheets. Run the system for one week. If it works for you, the natural next step is the full Daily Focus Sheet pack (£3.99) and Weekly Review (£3.99). Everything else is additive from there.
How does the Cascade system work in practice?
+
Set your annual goals in the Annual Blueprint. Break three of them into quarterly milestones in the 90-Day Planner. Every Sunday, run the Weekly Review: process your Brain Dump, check your quarterly goals, and set the week's three priorities. Every morning, fill in the Daily Focus Sheet with those priorities. That's the complete Cascade. Takes about 30 minutes on Sunday and 2 minutes each morning.
